A little bit about me….

Being a psychotherapist and mental health coach was not my first career. I came to it later in life after having experienced how much a good therapeutic relationship changed my life. I was in my mid-thirties when I made the decision to pursue a doctorate in clinical psychology and I’m so grateful that I chose this path.

In addition to the 20 plus years of training and practice I bring to my work, I also bring a wealth of my own life experiences. I have known many joys and triumphs in life, as well as many struggles and pains. I’ve experienced marriage and divorce and now live in a beautiful relationship with my husband of 16 years. I’ve raised children both as a biological parent and as a step-parent and know the struggles and rewards of building a blended family. I’ve weathered devastating loss and found joy and laughter in the aftermath. And, perhaps most importantly. I’ve learned to know that love, health and ease are always available to everyone of us, and knowing where to find it isn’t as hard as we might think.
